"These beautiful abstractions are defined by a fine sense of structure and movement. Using a grid-like format as the restraint, Wren organizes carefully plotted compositions of softened contours, achieving lovely organic effects of various tones and sensibilities.

In works like "Sliver" and "Gathering," limited to simple minimal vocabularies, the subtly toned variations achieve a tapestry-like magical effect of light and space, the orderly, layered mark-making revealing an elegant visual language of form and interaction."
